FIRE OBSTRUCTION COLLARS |

HISTORY
In order to observe the regulations in fire protection
matter for the discharge piping systems in plastic material,
for years BAMPI has been dealing in fire obstruction
collars that can be fitted to wall and ceiling installations.
MATERIAL
BAMPI’s fire obstruction collars consist of a
galvanized steel body with fixing hangers and an inset
fire obstruction laminate, which at a certain temperature
expands its volume and squeezes the plastic pipe together,
closing it completely thus preventing the fire from
moving into other rooms and storeys for a period of
180 minutes (REI 180). |

INSTALLATION
WALL INSTALLATION: the collars must be fitted to both sides of the wall.
CEILING INSTALLATION: the collar must be fitted to the bottom of the ceiling only.
RANGE
BAMPI?s REI 180 fire obstruction collars, having a height of 50 mm, are available in the following internal diameters: 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110, 125, 140 and 160 mm. |

CERTIFICATE
BAMPI’s fire obstruction collars were tested in
REI 180 class for piping systems in PVC, PP, PE and
ABS material in accordance with the Ministerial Memorandum
n.91 dated 14.09.1961.

PIPE FASTENING SYSTEMS |

HISTORY
By introducing the noise-insulated discharge systems
Polo-kal 3S and Polo-kal NG, BAMPI decided to make the
sound absorbency as good as possible by developing two
simple and practical pipe fastening systems: POLO-CLIP
(with RBT kit) and POLO-CLIP HS.
MATERIAL
POLO-CLIP (with RBT kit)
Made of polypropylene (PP) they have a self-locking,
stainless steel nut with an M10 thread pressed into
a polyamide inlay in the base of all 3 versions of the
bracket, making it possible to carry out standard types
of installation using threaded bars as well (not included).
POLO-CLIP HS
Consisting of high-strength PP, soft TPE ribs that give
the POLO-CLIP HS its highly sound absorbing effect and
an M10 stainless steel nut inlaid into the base, allowing
standard types of installation using threaded bars as
well (not included). It represents the development of
the Polo-clip system in terms of sound absorbency. |

POLO-CLIP HS
It is available for 3 nominal diameters of pipe; it
is used “as standard” on DN 110 pipes and
can easily be shortened to fit DN 90 and DN 75 pipes
simply by cutting off the body of the bracket at the
appropriate points marked using a suitable cutting tool.
ACCESSORIES
RBT NOISE-ABSORBING KIT
When using POLO-CLIP brackets to fasten discharge pipes
to an internal wall, it is recommended to use the special
RBT kit, consisting of a neoprene pad with screw and
anchor, available in one version suitable for all four
POLO-CLIP brackets versions.

CERTIFICATES
POLO-CLIP HS noise absorbency performance has been proved
by the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, according
to EN 14366, with Polo-kal 3S system (Certificate n.
P-BA 164/2006) and Polo-kal NG system (Certificate n.
P-BA 165/2006).
AREAS OF USE
POLO-CLIP and POLO-CLIP HS brackets represent a simple
and practical fastening system for discharge pipes inside
building, ensuring the best noise insulation. |
