Question: on the market there are several PP-R systems with different colours (green, blue etc.): is the colour an important technical feature?
Answer: no, it is just a matter of trading strategy. PP is originally colourless. However the several products present on the market are different in the pureness of the raw material, resistance to pressure of pipes and fittings and sturdiness of brass inserts. It is advised not to weld together products with different brand.

Question: it is advised not to install PP-R just outside boilers, isn’t it?
Answer: yes, because PP-R suffers too high and sudden thermal changes and in case of failure in the safety system of a boiler, some damages could occur.
