In public environments the bathroom must comply with requirements as per the D.L. 236/89 of 14 June 1989. The decree of the Ministry of Public Works of 14/6/1989 n. 236 provides the technical standards and requirements necessary to ensure the accessibility, adaptability and visitability of private buildings and public housing, for the purpose of overcoming and eliminating architectural barriers.
