The use of FONECODBAM is required with brick, poroton, CLS type infill walls, with a mass of less than 80 kg / m² (Rw≤25dB). In this case, FONECOdBAM, a 4 kg / m² heavy polyethylene and rubber stratified insulating sheet, is applied to the drain column (element that bears the greatest hydraulic load and more subject to intense and significant acoustic effects). The surface of the sheet that comes into contact with the pipe is glued to facilitate sealing during installation, although it is still necessary to connect plastic clamps before closing the wall recess. The FONECODBAM sheet is particularly performing as an acoustic insulator with a soundproofing power of 25 dB (as per laboratory certification).
