Access to the GAS distribution network inside the building must be intercepted by a valve, as well as the connection to the boiler. This valve must be easily accessible, out of reach of children and adequately built-in into the wall or in any case protected from any possible accidental impact. In this sense, Bampi proposes HOMEGAS, a built-in GAS shut-off valve with a fine design.
Stop valve compliant with UNI GIG 7129: 2015 (Design, construction, testing and reconstruction of systems, or part of them, made with multilayer metal-plastic pipes) in accordance with UNI EN 331. It is suitable for GAS distribution networks in residential, industrial and commercial, public and receptive buildings such as hospitals, retirement homes and nursing homes, hotels, schools, places of worship.
The standard reference in force in Italy for the design, construction and testing of a domestic and extra-domestic GAS distribution network is UNI CIG 7129: 2015 in accordance with UNI TS 11343. With respect to the construction of systems inside buildings, regardless of the intended use, Ministerial Decree N ° 37 of 2008 must be applied, which requires compliance with the rules of the art and the declaration of conformity of what has been achieved. All stages must therefore be carried out by personnel with the necessary technical skills and in possession of the requisites established by laws and regulations in force.
The HOMEGAS valve (available with 1 or 3 outlets) consists of a brass body housed in a special box for wall mounting with a small plate in chromed ABS. The valve is quickly reached with press fittings used for joining pipes in metal-plastic material (type PEX/AL/PEX multilayer pipe). All the indications for correct installation follow the requirements contained in the reference technical standard, UNI CIG 7129: 2015.
